After several years of very hard work during our closed season here at Los Olivos, Dani arrived at the big day of his viva for his PhD at the Complutense University of Madrid on Friday 4th March.
It was a quite grueling three and a half hour session of presentation, question and answer, and final assessment.
In the end the panel (which included Prof. Martyn Percy from Oxford University) were unanimous in awarding him a distinction for his work on "Anglican Identity as Mestizaje (hybrid) Ecclesiology: cultural contextuality and relational catholicity before and after the Anglican Covenant", and a PhD in Religious Sciences.
