Places of Enchantment: meeting God in the Sierra Nevada
There is a long tradition of finding God in the great outdoors and seeing creation alive with the Holy Spirit. This retreat uses the incredible landscapes around Los Olivos to enter into a conversation with God, to pause in his presence, and to explore the scriptures in different ways. Input includes talks, walks, gathered silence, liturgical responses, and being creative within the landscape. Led by Bishop Graham Usher, author of Places of Enchantment, meeting God in lanscapes (2012).
